If you have it in the fridge, take a swig of pickle juice. I'm no doctor but I'm pretty sure the cause of heartburn and acid reflux is caused by the potency of the stomach acid not being acidic enough. Eating more acidic fermented foods such a pickles is 'supposed' to help with that and having a swig of the jars contents. Rather than taking a Rennie or heartburn formula which masks the symptoms and then makes the natural acidity in the stomach less and less potent.. and in turn cause more heartburn and acid reflux. But as I said I'm not a doctor, do some research into it.
