@Magicminx Have you ever been to a class reunion? If you were to join one, who would you like to meet there?

@Firefly if you could have one superpower what would it be? And would you use it for good or to be bad?

@hung_nudist If you could open a restaurant, what kind of food/style of establishment would you open?
I'm not a foodie, so it's not a question i've ever considered. I'm happy with a pizza and ice cream at Pizza Hut, lol. The times I've most enjoyed food have been when on holiday in Menorca and Lanzarote, so I guess I'd have my restaurant there, plenty of fresh seafood (cod, tuna, swordfish etc), paella, chicken/lamb kebabs (the skewer type, not the drunken Friday night kebabs hop kind, lol) etc in the sunshine.

OMG what a good question.

Telekinesis.
Evil uses: I'd use it to do laundry.
Good uses: Could you even imagine how much fun a cam call would be if I were telekinetic...:eek:o_O:cool:

Other uses: transport myself up mountains that are unclimbable so I could enjoy the view from the top; bend and move trees and plants as I walk through deep brush; catching various people about to fall; lifting cars or buses and rescuing the people trapped inside

@JamesMarcus121212 If you were castaway on a desert island, what five things would you need there with you? (no people)
1. Satellite phone
2. Magnifying glass to start a fire
3. Flare
4. Knife
5. Space blanket

I want to live! :D Everything that's a comfort that I would want needs electricity but if the spirit of the question is more to do with comforts:

1. Football
2. Solar-powered battery bank
3. Phone
4. Snorkle
5. Swimming Goggles

@Firefly of the 5 senses, if forced - which could you live without & which would you strengthen and why?
I could easily be blind. I have already seen more than enough to colour a lifetime. Relying on my other senses and the people around me, I could easily continue my life fairly uninterrupted. (although...chat would become a bit of a challenge...but i guess i could rely on read aloud software...and I can touch type...so im sure i would survive...) I think there are already so many accommodations for blind people, it would be fairly easy to get on with life. And it would be a good justification to get a dog.

Life without smell and taste would be meaningless. I think I would soon fall into a depression and commit suicide if I lost either of those senses. So many of my pleasures depend so heavily on smell and taste. Also, I rely on them to communicate subtle things with the people I love, regarding health, mental state and so on. To understand how the weather is changing. To cook for those who are hungry. (I don't know that i would eat if i couldn't taste...)

Life without tactile sense, I would soon injure myself. I rely on pain to know my limits. It also so vital to function in daily life. Find a light switch in the dark, button a shirt, pull on your shoes, go to the toilet...these tasks are near impossible when you can't feel what you are doing.

Life without sound would be so hard. Not being able to hear what people are saying the hardest part. But also the semi-silence of only the voices and white noise in my head...that would be really very challenging for me.

If I could improve my hearing, or guarantee my hearing would never degrade as I hopefully get older, I would in a heart beat.

No I've never felt the need to join one. Growing up in a small village and surrounded by other villages I quite often see regular mates. Even teachers.. Sadly some have passed away now. Still in touch with a few though after all these years. I don't think their is anyone I particularly would like to meet.
