Honestly when I signed up here I was in a bad place and thought it would be good for me to try and get as much sex as possible but soon realised that wasn't me. Sure meeting up with people would be great but more about sharing the good times than sex if that's going to happen it will happen naturally. Now ukchat is a nice little community for me several people here I consider friends and those who have helped me keep going through some tough times a massive thank you for that to everyone

I always set the bar low so things can exceed expectations. I was looking for company and a way to express myself when I joined. Didn't expect to still be here or have a seat and glass engraved with my name on. Lol.
Let's face it last year if it wasn't for our wonderful NHS, I wouldn't be at all.
I have seen members come and go. Friendship and arguments. Just remember life is too short.
I come for some escapism, the jokes and the pictures. The site is very much what you make it. You do have to interact, there is a real diversity of users with a wealth of knowledge so do talk to one another and be respectful. Who knows you may even remember to have fun.

Expecting to meet and fuck soon realised never gonna happen but I have now got to know 3 or 4 people really well and that’s a bonus, I now look at the site as a bit of fun and a laugh and if anything ever happens then happy days, it’s much better then FB for sure lol

I was hoping to find fellow Dom's, and hopefully subs, who wanted to chat in forums.
I found lots of people wanting this, that or the other 'right now', ie instant gratification, instead of people who want to chat n share info or stories.
I did find a few people who are more forum based n unselfish, such as yourself, or Adie but most people are too busy trying to meet n jerk to bother with actually communicating. I tried the kink chat .. lasted ten mins .. without seeing even one remotely kinky comment.
What was I expecting, something similar to what I used to use more than a decade ago where people posted on a main forum and then chatted with like minded people in a txt / voice chat. were those expectations met... not by a long shot.

for those after instant gratification, please don't be offended. it's nothing personal, but I think that the deluge of available apps dedicated to instant gratification are far more suited to that use than a forum where a given user might drop in for half an hour every day or so.

I can honestly say (although I'm new here) and still fumbling my way around.
I didn't have any expectations when I signed up, having used other platforms in the past I had an idea what to expect, I've found if you expect too much you will always feel let down best just to roll with what you have and most importantly have fun.
