    I saw a news report, never really know with the news. I know Japan has frequent tremors. Glad to hear all is good though. I’ll cheers to that :)

    It was a little bit more than a tremor. But yes almost all of my earthquake damage prevention measures came good for me. I did lose a shelf of cocktail syrups and my nitrogen tank for the Guinness, but hopefully insurance will cover it so no harm no foul.

    I'm not sure who ordered summer rain for New Year's Eve... or for that matter summer rain in December. I'm not even really sure if I want to complain about this. This is beautiful. I need a cocktail. Is it too early for cocktails? I'm going to get a sundress.

    How about a Yakisoba-pan?

    I bought one of those from a 7/11 on the way back to the hotel from a pub in Sengakuji and it was just the right thing after getting wasted on my own.

    Snow already? Does that mean the Sakura will start early as well. May have to fly over from India in February/March and see the first blossom.

    Is it early for snow? There is a saying if there are many stink beetles in autumn means a snowy winter, and this autumn was certainly a beetle-pocalyse. In my experience heavy snow means a short winter...we will see though.

    When I was growing up.. on a rare Christmas we actually had snow in December… we have a thing called April showers.. most years now (where I’m based) it might not snow till March or April if it snows at all and the April showers is more like May/June/July which is also hard to say because it rains all the time and we will be lucky to get a summer haha.

    Strep, I think...in combination with extreme muscle fatigue because I tried to nip the infection in the bud by doing a 5k run... so I have muscle pain but also I'm definitely sick. #iregretnothing
