    Any good recommendations for books? Need a couple to take away with me on my trip. I was thinking about getting the Iliad and the odyssey by Homer as I haven’t read that yet.

    Assuming you don’t want to read it in Latin as I had to at university Fagles translation probably easiest to read but for poetry and scanning closest to original try Emily Wilson

    I’ll skip the Latin as it wasn’t taught in my education. By trip I’m not doing acid.. haha. I’m heading back to India in January for a while and I’ll be on the beach a fair bit plus catching long train journey’s so I thought about taking a decent book or two. Thank you for the recommendations though, I will look them up.

    Yes, it’s been bad and still getting worse everywhere for how the younger generations are acting and especially how the youths treat the older generation with lack of respect. I know this is an adult website on the internet but people still should have a little respect towards others.
