Not so much inspiring, but most monumental: each birth of our 3 (now adult) children. I will come back later with the inspiring one x
as a creative, seeing H.R. Giger artwork. Got me into airbrushing paintings. See favourite camera roll pics threads.
I don’t generally encounter things I can’t deal with. But the things which I find the least favourite is how people believe they have a right to be rude to others. Also people not being honest.
So like the Phoenix of legends you rose from the ashes of your old Avatar…to burn bright once more as a new being of wonderUsed "Red" for years mostly down to my Red hair, and a little down to being teased about it when I was young, I decided to own the nickname. When I was playing RPG's at school and MMORPG at college I used to be in to Celtic folklore, you know pics all over my room that sort of thing. My on screen name when I played was usually (if I could get it) Red Raven, I thought the Morrigan was very cool. I was trying to get a 3D avatar set up and couldn't find a decent Tattoo of a raven to use but found a wonderful full back tattoo of a Phoenix, so fickle as I obviously am I switched to Red Phoenix, and have used that screen, email, chat and gaming name since.
So Hey @Mae I am Red Phoenix see me burn - lol
I first started using chat shortly after the end of firefly season. After sampling a variety of different guest names, and soon realizing that people's first approach can be greatly influenced by your handle (and other information you drop), I decided to go with my good friends the lampyridae....of course Firefly got better attention that Lampyridae so...you know.@everyone
How did you choose your screen name?
Perhaps something about the moon...I'm not sure. But as my profile suggests...I like to laugh.
Have had several, sometimes a couple or more on the same site (can be interesting), but having reached that certain age, and not trying to pretend things might change, found I rather liked this little play on dog latin inspired by those once eminent classists, the Pythons. How did you choose your screen name?
I see I missed to type I see; CLASSICISTS!nt classists, the Pythons.
I do get a lot of satisfaction from interacting with people. Especially when people have a moment to think of something new or different over the course of it. I get even more satisfaction with others join in too.@Firefly - have these questions given you a satisfactory insight to the chatters you have directed them too?
(YOU'RE STILL PLAYING THE GAME!!!)@Bukowski Welcome back to the show. We got simply flooded with questions since you were last here and so there is not for it, but to have you back. How are the new threads coming along? And what are these rumours I keep hearing bout an antiques thread? Exciting stuff.
Anyway, the thing our viewers have been dying to know from you:
Can pigeons do math?
I don't use jewellery. But perhaps a silver/pewter hair pin would be something I would love. As for design, i think maybe with a dragon or tree root design on the bobble top or with a semi precious stone like jade or lapis lazuli on the end.@Firefly - So now I am keen to understand what others would have made so to you and @Everyone - If you could have a piece of jewellery custom-made for you, what would you commission?
