/ initiate rant
I went to work this morning with a clean sink. That means after everyone had their breakfast and before leaving the house, I gathered all of the dishes and washed them and put them away.
Not to toot my own horn, but I also threw out the garbage. I know, I am awesome. and I put a new garbage bag in the garbage bin, so that when I got home from work and had to cook dinner, there would be a place to put food scraps that were generated by the preparing of the evening meal.
I got home from work, check the mailbox, found a flyer from my local counsil whatever saying, there's a new campaign to promote sharing housework. We should photograph our partner doing housework and hashtag it and post it to this campaigns Instagram page. This campaign may have triggered me as I was walking through the door.
Especially as what I'm now staring at is a sink full of dishes, watermelon rind and seeds.
There's a f****** garbage can for exactly this f****** reason.Why the f*** would you spit the seeds in the sink. You f*** nut. I honestly I'm so f****** finished.

And the stars are there because I'm using my phone's voice typing thing and the voice typing is like whoa sweetheart okay calm down, watch your language my ears are bleeding … I feel better

As I have to be up and at work by 05:45 I have perfected a very quick up shower iron shirt and get ready protocol this morning however as I leave my back door to go to my car my completely ignorant asshole of a neighbour ( across the road ) has decided to parallel park his black transit van next to my car whilst he goes back inside to retrieve something and that coupled with the 3 sets of temporary traffic lights and the mile long stretch of freshly un tarmaced road and 20mph speed limit meant I pulled into the car park at 05:49 and walked into my office to receive a call from my control asking why I was late signing in

Probably a high five moment, but let’s high ten.
Highly relatable, although it’s when I walk up to work through fields/long grass etc. Soggy feet for 12-14 hours is shit.
Great excuse to get your kit off at work although the colleagues won’t get any work done.
