(mutters under breath dammit there are no English words that start ie, it's normally a suffix indicating according to both OED and Websters, smallness. However, a quick ferry trip and relatively easy drive will bring us to a Belgian town I've oft visited and enjoyed, it's not the French (locally disliked) Ypres, or Tommy's Wipers)
