Picked this book up while I was by the sea in India in 2015, I read it in a day or so. It is a fantastic book.

Four backpackers meet in Bolivia and set off into the rainforest on a dream expedition, lured by the promise of uncharted villages and forgotten tribes hidden in places tourists only dream of seeing. But what begins as the adventure of a lifetime quickly becomes a struggle when they get lost in the Amazonian jungle.

One of my favourite questions to ask a guy when they're trying it on and l'm looking to sort the good from the bad. So throwing it open to the masses.
Got to admit, when the first response is Hitchhiker's Guide then I can be fairly sure it's the only book he's ever read.
Not saying it's not a good book, but when it's first up there, you know they're gonna be clutching at straws after. But some do reach for some very improbable others....Great Expectations, 1984, Animal Farm.

My last read was "False Value" by Ben Aaronvitch, part of his 'Rivers of London' series.

Just started "The Final Game" by Caimh McDonnell, which follows on from his 'Dublin Trilogy' of four books.
Love that the Dublin Trilogy is now seven books. :)
