Don't think there is too much coffee, if properly made: Instant, 1 cup too much. However, some years ago when my then GP asked how much coffee I drank my response of 2.5 to 3 litres evoked 'you mean cups' 'no, I mean litres' 'I think you should cut it down a bit', so I did, to 2.
