I've known an ex paratrooper for about 25 years and not once has he ever called himself or said he was a paratrooper, if he ever spoke about it all that was said if anyone asks, he was a cleaner. He's 70/80+ now.

Porridge, with honey, cinnamon, pecan and walnuts with some roasted seven seed mix that is probably expensive bird feed.. with a sprinle of goji berries for good measure.

I'm pretty sure he was proud to be what he was and do what he did, I was merely pointing out a different take on him never really talking about it and you making it quite obvious you were one. I meant no offense.

Yeah the cinnamon was for the porridge, not the sloe gin.. my dad had local sloes and made two bottles of it and stored it deep in a cupboard to be found by my younger brother 30 years later and drinking both bottles when I'm and his friends ran out of booze.. my father was not too happy about that.
