Serial spammers

Seems there's been an outbreak of serial spammers just recently, possibly same origin but different user names etc. Can anything be done to proactively negate this annoyance?

They're removed from the site as soon as we see them. Please keep reporting if seen though.

Will do , extremely irritating when they occur: could not the developers develop an algorithm that identifies a new username posting the same post to multiple threads within a short time and immediately delete those and user information, with site ban?

Possibly beyond the wit of AI, but we mere people are a lot cleverer!
