Rule out fake profiles?

Still doesn’t get around the people, who, like myself, don’t want to show their face in public online, for one reason if another. It would still need a background verification by admin/mods to work or you’d lose an awful lot of decent members

I agree with you J. Even though I currently have my face pic up, I definitely wouldn't like to be holding my username up with my face pic, for obvious and personal reasons.

Each to there own on this site and on all other sites, there is always going to be Fake profiles on all these sites and social media. It cannot really be contained....

I'm on here and I've been on a few times as like J said some of us only stay on here a short time, then re join like myself. I'm also not looking to meet anyone, but that doesn't make me fake.

Anyway all good, if you can already spot the fakes either report or just move on plenty more fish in the sea

Thats what i meant you post one of you pics with shambles in no faces needed for example a fake screenshotting pics cant do that.btw im not really fussed was just trying to come up with a solution

That’s fair enough mate. If memory serves something like that was tried a couple of years ago with little success. Would be good if something worked, but I also go back to my original point that there are that many members that go into chat and don’t use forum that it would be very hard to police

Think if someone could come up with an automatic way to verify that didn’t cause a lot of work for admin/mods then genuine members would be interested. Almost self policing

Yeah this would be perfect, but it would make more work, and I don’t wanna come across like I was moaning at the admins ect Cus I love this site haha. I’ve been on ones where you get sent a random pose to recreate but the pic you send is purely for verification and wouldn’t be shown anywhere so there’d be no worries for anyone who can’t show their face. But it would need to be done by someone who runs the site. Which isn’t fair when it’s a free site.
I think when I’d write the post originally I was just letting the odd fake profile get to me, which is not why am here lol. There’s tonnes of genuine people. You being one! And I’m not tech savvy enough to figure it out haha

Yeah I’m the same, I get people don’t wanna show faces but I just thought there could be a happy medium, but I think for the most part people are happy to chat with people at ‘face/profile value’ Which is fine. Just a personal peeve of mine when it’s such an obviously fake profile.
Just thought I’d there was a ‘catalogue’ of some kind of ‘verified’ users,
Would save some people time.
I mean, me and @mrcouple4fun are looking for in person meets, some people just want the online chat. Going off convos I have had, I don’t think it’s necessarily wanted by that many

Another site I’m on will take a picture of you holding your “name” on a piece of paper as proof you’re not fake

Does it not drive you crazy though? Like actually irritates the shit out of me, so obvs there’s screen shot after screen shot if the same stolen video haha

God, now I think I know What you mean. The slight grainy pictures. The sense of something is off. At the same time, I'm curious as to what the motive is? Why spend so many hours on various threads? Wow, it's kind of sad and shocking how easily you can be fooled online.

Would anyone actually be up for coming up with something to prove you are who you say you are? Like a certain pose while holding something written or something?
I know there are plenty of genuine people on here but there’s also sooooooo many you know are taking screen shots of other peoples online vids or just Google pics.
Would be nice to narrow that down and know who’s genuine. I know not everyone is up for showing there faces publicly, but there must be a way to respect peoples boundaries, but save time wasted on people who are pretending to be some sex god/goddess from a long forgotten porno

For me, I have no problem doing whatever puts the other person at ease to show I am a genuine person.

If someone isn't willing to send a simple photo to put you at ease then I wouldn't want to engage with them IRL
