Posting pictures

Hello everyone I would like to post my own pictures in things like my updates I have a gyazo account and it didn't like it does anyone know what's accepted for pictures as links

It is best to save the picture to your device - phone, laptop, tablet etc - and then upload onto the Forum or in a chatroom.

Ok thank you just wonder if the link functionality was visible then I do a odd update from profile

As an addon to this, there's a 10mb limit for gifs in the rooms, but is there a smaller limit on the forum?

Usually in the forums there is a 2mb limit for pictures and gifs, I've managed to get away with posting some that are 2.1/2.2mb but any larger and the file size is too large to post. If so you can just google a gif/picture compressor site to upload it to that and it will compress the file for you, it's a pretty simple process. As long as you save the new file to your device the website you used usually deletes the file you uploaded within the hour off of their servers.

If the image is hosted on another site, right click/long tap, copy image address (sometimes you have to "open image inner window" to get the link for the image only) then use the insert image icon in your status update

There is no size limit when posting an image by link, since the actual image file is hosted offsite
