Going to a boys school hated poetry but later in the army and some high adrenalin postings I found some peace reading the war poets. I even wrote one which if I have a stiffener may share.
I also moved onto Haikus and whist apparently very short so difficult to construct and draw maximum impact. Also many love poems
I know this is a sex chat site so how about some Catullus he would have fitted the chat rooms perfectly
Finally let’s not forget the great British limerick.
This might not get traction but here goes.

empty handed I entered the world
Barefoot I leave it
My coming , my going-
Two simple happenings
That got entangled

Home

My first thought at day light
My blanket at night
My bed rock to return to
After a noisy firefight
My you must wonder
How dumb I can be
Risking leaving you for ever
If I fall in the lea.

This oath I now swear
Please take it on sight
and Mars fails to beckon
In the attack at first light
If he spares me til Christmas
How content I shall be
Let world peace break out
For you all: if not me.

There once was a runner
named Dwight
Who could speed even faster than light
He set out one day
In a relative way
And returned on the
Previous night

One I found….

Fireflies

Little lamps of the dusk
You fly low and gold
When the summer evening
Starts to unfold.
So that all the insects,
Now, before you pass,
Will have light to see by
Undressing in the grass.

But when night has flowered,
Little lamps agleam,
You fly over tree-tops
Following a dream.
Men wonder from their windows
That a firefly goes so far.
They do not know your longing
To be a shooting star.

Catullus poem 87
No woman can say truly that she has been loved
As much as you; Lesbia mine were loved by me
No faithfulness in any bond was ever
Such as has been found in my part in my love for you.

Catullus 45 BC even better in Latin

Pulsating heart
Throbbing desire
Lustful yearning
Urgent need
Do you know the affects you unleash in my longing you dirty bitch

This poem oozed from my very being… every fibre of my body shook with shakiness as I penned this opus to one particular lady her… I hope it makes you moist with pleasure and drives you to contact me.

This poem is for you.

Little Jackie Horner sat in the corner
Her knickers all tattered and torn
It wasn’t the spider who sat down beside her
But little boy blue with the horn

Catullus 16 written around 45 bc banned in uk for publication until 20th century.

Pēdīcābō ego vōs et irrumābō,

Aurēlī pathice et cinaede Fūrī,

quī mē ex versiculīs meīs putāstis,

quod sunt molliculī, parum pudīcum.

Nam castum esse decet pium poētam

ipsum, versiculōs nihil necesse est;

quī tum dēnique habent salem ac lepōrem,

sī sint molliculī ac parum pudīcī

et quod prūriat incitāre possunt,

nōn dīcō puerīs, sed hīs pilōsīs

Et quod prurient incitare possunt

Non dico pueris, sed his pilosis

Qui euros nequent move re lumbos

Vos, quod milia multa basiorum

Legistis male me moral putatis?

Risky for this site if an accurate translation is posted.

If anyone does, then understand the references. Mocked for his effeminacy, how he submits to both men and women, this was his reply.
Purposely overly aggressive and crude. Though in those times, not as outrageous as it would be now.

Hi DJ
Thank you for engaging and I agree with you it needs the right setting and context so didnt translate. Catullus had been accused by two former friends of being effeminate because he wrote love poetry and about kisses. I therefore think in his response to his two critics that the sex acts are simply saying so what do you think now about my writing now does it make me more manly in your eyes and are ironic and not meant to be acted upon. It is legal to publish the full poem and given my view not meant to be acted upon ok for here.

Sappho extrac many year bc

“Pubic hair that befits a goddess
Pubic hair that equips a goddess
That little arrowhead of pubic hair that
Magnifies your thighs magnificence”

Pablo Nerudo
I crave your mouth, your voice, your
Hair. Silent and starving, I prowl through
The streets. Bread does not nourish me,
Dawn disrupts me,all day I hunt for the
Liquid measure of your steps
