Odd location

Hoping for advice

As we have our network through Starlink it sometimes appears we are in US or other random locations.

Short of using a VPN to slow everything down any clues how to make sure your country appears correct in Chat?

You wont be able to access chat if you use a VPN. As to your location, if it's a thing with using Starlink that it 'disguises' your location, then there's not a lot we can do. Often the location (flag) is wrong, just tell people where you are if you want them to know.
