It was tiny. There were actually loads of them that night, no bigger than a finger nail

First glance I thought this was a dandelion which had been trapped by the door. Closer inspection I saw it was a caterpillar, so moved it to a safer place

Just had a look on Google to find out what kind it is... Never seen one before but it makes sense as I have a huge sycamore in the garden
