Ultimately whether or not you can ever truly be fulfilled (sexually or otherwise) most likely depends on your personality. Some people have a more vivid imagination than others, require more variety than others and are more prone to becoming "bored" and requiring something different than others....

Personally I have acted out a few of my fantasies (nothing too crazy, having sex in public, having someone dress up, being dominant etc) and every time I have been able to act out a fantasy I have fixated on for a period of time it has been replaced with a new fantasy within a few weeks or months..... I would probably liken acting out your sexual desires to meeting life goals or perhaps even falling in love in the first place. Once you've "done it" there is an immediate sense of great satisfaction however over time your focus switches elsewhere or after the honeymoon period comes to an end in a relationship you begin to push the boundaries of that relationship.
