It is with some sadness I have to make this last post having had some unwelcome news ironically arriving on April 1st. The treatment hasn’t been the success hoped for so setting out on a new challenge.

I had my family around over Easter to announce the news so now sharing with my virtual family you know who you are.Your friendship will help to sustain me going forward and I have some happy memories

To those in the community who sadly continue to receive abuse whether from misogynists,racists and people who don’t embrace diversity continue with your courage and indomitable spirit. The dinosaurs really did become extinct.

As it says in the life of Brian “Always look on the bright side of life deeda deeda deeda deeda deeda”

Farewell I send you love and above all happiness in whatever direction life takes you.

Shy asked me to let you know she went bravely and in peace. I sang her my song Roger Whittaker the last farewell.
The same song I sang her before I went ashore at San Carlos Bay all those years ago.
She was my light my joy my best companion.
Those who engaged with her made her last months bearable so thanks.
