I'm off to see a band tonight (yes kids, I'm SO rock n roll)


A fairly simple one this ....


Who was the last live band/act you saw? What did you think? Did they live up to your expectations?

My last gig was Jonny Marr (orchestral).


It was a little disappointing - only did 3 Smiths tracks.


Jonny (I know you come on here every now and then for a cheeky wank) .... I want ANTHEMS

Not sure, go to alot of gigs because im friends with alot of bands. I know this year ive seen alice cooper, judas priest, cradle of filth, maiden and hammerfall. I went to a gig with a sort of step daughter shes not mine but a friends kid but I will never openly admit being a metal head going to escort her to a billie eilish concert, I was never there and cant prove it!!!

Had high expectations as they were hyped on the festival circuits some years ago.

Thought they were excellent & they matched my expectations (which was good as friends had bought our tickets, had seen them before & had been gushing about them).

My dad used to follow them on tour and became friends. I also have a fully signed guitar, full collection of maiden picks, signed shirt and played fear of the dark with the band. Great guys fun to mess around with. My dad was a metal head since I was born so got to meet alot of bands, star trek celebs and because of my business partner know many famous people, we were just at the royal tea party.

Last one was Offspring a few years back. Would love to go more frequently but don't get much chance anymore.

They were pretty good really, you can see the years on Dexter and Noodles now but they can still do it.

Last gig I went to was rod Stewart supported by culture club at Durham cricket ground which was brilliant.
Last live music I seen was at Silverstone f1 last year seeing multiple bands and the very ladt was Tom grennan who was really good, but during that weekend seen black eyed peas Calvin Harris Jax jones Jess Glynn cat burns.
They were all good except Jess Glynn

Lytham Festival yesterday.


Inspiral Carpets stuck to the anthems and were really good.

Jonny Marr - still a wanker.

James (Orchestral) - Interesting, different, quite enjoyable but lacking energy compared to their usual live performances.
