If one was to talk about a "bent policeman" or a "bent politician" or even a "bent moderator" would that be homophobia? Of course not

It’s not homophobia but the origins are the same. To be honest is to be straight, so to be dishonest is to be bent. To be heterosexual is to be straight so naturally to be homosexual is bent.
