Yes some people reply to messages and join in discussions , in many ways it depends on the message and the individuals using the site. My advice to anyone is be realistic. Just because we are all on a sex chat site it does not mean we are all looking for the same thing and as many of you have probably noticed guys outnumber the ladies by as much as 10 to 1 at times.

Another thing which I have noticed on various Forums is that guys have posted a reply to a comment that was from a while ago adding that they have also sent a message , when in fact if they had checked the persons profile they would find out they are no longer a member or have not been on here for a few months.

That is not a criticism of the site or anyone in particular it is more of an observation which may help others understand of how it all works. My advice to anyone is dont take things personally or read too much into it.
