A word from a dinosaur that has been on this site for many years and seen many things and chatted to a few people.
This site does not present itself as a dating or meeting app. It's called UK Adult chat. With the clue being in the name that it is a chat site.
People join from all over, Scotland, Wales, England, Ireland & even abroad, predominantly to chat.
Yes it is often fantasy and escapism,
Don't we all want some of that. If you can arrange to meet other members or guests fantastic, however, it is unrealistic to have that as an object and energy would be better served on a dating app that carries more potential opportunity of meeting some one, and finding local company.
Even better, put the phone away and hit a pub or club and see if you can pull.

Dms always open for anyone who wants to chat. Don't really do the chat rooms myself.

Very good points Adie. This is advertised as a chat site and having used dating sites myself over the years I know that many of them offer free membership or cheap bargain deals to ladies so I would imagine many would go for something like that if it was dating or meet ups they were specifically looking for.

Having said that I was lucky enough to meet someone from here a while ago but I doubt I will get many if any more opportunities. As for chatting I do have a couple of nice regular " Chat friends " if that is the right phrase.

As mentioned before this can be a fun place to chat as long as you keep your expectations realistic and don`t see it as your only chance of ever meeting anyone.

A huge proportion of the women on here are either men posing as women (particularly the supposedly young ones….I mean why would an attractive 18 year old girl come on here?) or women just looking for attention. Even fairly ordinary pics (and that’s being polite) get positive atttention. I guess we’ve all chatted to someone maybe more than once and then thought ‘hang on, you’re not who you claim to be’.
