Easy to find yes, it is somewhat pernicious.
Easy to do/accomplish, no hated the subject had an atrocious teacher, who had taught my brother at another school, and thought I should have the same ability he had. put me off entirely. However in my day, could tot up a dozen or more drinks in a round and charge appropriately, before the Jewish pianos transformed into hunt the appropriate picture.

Re maths, as an engineer i use maths as part of my job, although having colleagues to do the hand calculating, and pcs to do the work we cannot do ourselves, makes life easier. Sympathize with your teacher issues, at school had trouble getting a grade 3 CSE, went to college the following year and got an A GCSE.
If someone cannot explain the maths in simple terms, its probably because they don't understand it themselves. Its easy to make things sound complicated when in reality more often than not, the concepts are simple.
Not sure if i can being clear on this front or not?
