Chatters using EE/BT as their Internet Provider

After collecting data from many of the chatters who are experiencing disconnection in chat and also pending on when they try to type, it has become apparent that the common denominator is EE/BT customers.

The site developer has looked thoroughly into this matter and it is not something that is being caused by the site or it would affect all chatters.
Whatever internet censorship system EE/BT is using seems to break long-running connections.

Exactly,t's only this site thats is doing it all other websites work perfectly fine. I have fibre BT and I stream fine elsewhere on cam.

The site will not be talking to EE/BT.

So other sites in the group which I use - Ukchat.com and free chat now - don’t have the same issue …. so logically it is something to do with Ukchat.co.uk site and not BT or EE

So why is it only affecting EE/BT customers and not all chatters ?

Still can't get chat to work using wifi on EE, I did manage to fix my chat by using an ethernet cable and chat is now working perfectly, just in case this helps someone else..

Both the sites from the the same group - Ukchat.com and free chat now are adult themed - are the sites I use and currently work perfectly … it seems to be exactly the same issue from last year which was eventually fixed….

There's nothing they can do. It's nothing that they have done. It's a problem with BT/EE. They can't go to them on behalf of EVERY user here who's having problems. It's up to the individual users to contact their service provider and sort it out themselves. You need to take responsibility here.

By what Elwood has said, the developers have looked into the issue to TRY and find a workaround solution that works for all. The point is they have TRIED. Since it's only affecting BT/EE users, they can't do a fix for them that'll break it for everyone else. The site is working absolutely fine for everyone else.

All you have to do is call them. Log it as an error. If enough people do so, then they'll look into it with more priority. Then you'd get your solution to this mess.

But I know how easy it is to blame other people rather than taking responsibility for your own destiny...

I have adjusted parental controls and filters as suggested by the mods and it doesnt change a thing. Its a shame because i like chatting here and like most of the people

Erm... hate to tell you this but Mr BT man knows you chat on a wank site. He knows everything you do online. Even if you use incognito mode...
