It is not a site issue. It is an issue with BT/EE customers. The 17th date was what BT quoted. You need to speak to them.

That you have been having problems with UKChat.co.uk and a lot of chatters who are on the same service providers of BT/EE are having the same issues. The site admin has extensively checked and can't find a fault with the site so it must be some sort of content filter that has been placed on this site by BT/EE at their end.

You don't even have to mention that it's an adult site

have you turned your modem off and then back on. My internet went off overnight and i had to restart the modem and today i've not been disconnected once.

Clean chat works why not this site?? Spoke to my provider and they have come back saying site issue even gave both here and clean site addresses. They said this site needs to be inline with clean chat so definitely a site issue. If you run both sites whats the issues??

If I connect at home with BT it falls over continually, as soon as I come off my BT and go to any other connection it’s fine.

So on the face of it I would agree that it’s a BT issue, but the .com site works perfectly, so it’s something that .co.uk is telling the BT connection that causes the reset to occur. On my iPad the site acts like I am playing media with the media player active, is there a stay live setting or “Adult” flag somewhere?

If it was a chatroom problem, ALL of us would be affected. We're not. I've had no issues whatsoever...

A number of us have contacted BT and they are not able to identify the problem on there end. Yes it looks like they may have an issue, however the site seems to be giving false flags. This exact problem happened on ukchat.co.uk in 2022 and also then the issue started to migrate to ukchat.com also.

There was never a published resolution to this, however it was suggested that something on these two websites was changed and all started to work again.

So it looks like its a bit 50/50 on who can resolve, however it does not look like BT will. Unless it can be identified as to exactly what is happening and the cause.

AND It's just the chat Bit
AND it's NOT happening All the time
