Try solve this but you can only ask 1 question each time I can only give answer yes or no

A man lives in a block of flts on 20th floor,when he goes to work,in lift he presses,zground floor gets out and off to work.
However when he comes home every time he gets in lift, presses button 10 ,gets out and walks the rest up stairs to his apartment.

WHY?

Is that not the answer? He's short so can't reach but can reach Ground Floor.

Sort of..hes a dwarf and can only reach 10th button so gets out and walks rest of way up the stairs
