250 psi. You tell me? Don't steam trains have a pressure relief or something? So I'm going to say it wasn't exceededWhat was the designed working pressure of the boiler on Nigel Gresley's A4 Mallard, and was it exceeded on its record-breaking run?

Would you do anything more? The only thing me and her have ever done together is suck a guy off on a night out
Thank you for your thoughtful (and accurate) response : yes they do/did, called the safety valve , I understand usually set to a point below the boiler's tested pressure, which an expert will or could confirm or disconfirm. However, it does allow the question, was the stated 250psi just the working pressure for the superheated steam boiler under normal conditions, or the boiler's tested pressure, which might possibly (I do not know) exceed that of the working pressure? You tell me? Don't steam trains have a pressure relief or something?
I guess the next point would be to look at the boiler and see what tolerances if any were allowed. I don't know. Believe it or not steam trains aren't my forteThank you for your thoughtful (and accurate) response : yes they do/did, called the safety valve , I understand usually set to a point below the boiler's tested pressure, which an expert will or could confirm or disconfirm.
