All women are different so hard to give perfect advice, best not to go too large with any toys or will cause more pain than pleasure, maybe buy something a little bigger than you and try it mixed with clit stimulation first? See how that goes, build from there

I'd suggest talking with your girlfriend about it, discuss the things she likes, what turns her on, where she likes to be touched, what stimulates her more, foreplay, kissing, oral, inner/outer vaginal stimulation, soft/sensual/rough/slow/quick or even in between. As tophat mentioned all woman are different and their bodies react differently to things. Mental stimulation and build up usually plays a bit part in where it ends up but forcing it just for the sake of wanting her to orgasm may have the opposite effect.. It's all about the journey not the destination as they say. Also you worrying about not pleasing her will emit a lack of confidence and the energy you give off could be potentially harming the intimacy. I may be talking nonsense but in the end I still think it's something you need to figure out between you and your partner.
