In a sexless marriage. Love my wife of 20 years but after a breakdown been in spare bedroom for 17 months.

You need to talk things out, if you can’t do this and you walk away you’ll always think what if! And it will eat you alive.

The wife needs to see your insecurities, and you hers it will either bind you and make you stronger than ever or it won’t. Either way you will then know what your answer is.
But never give up mate, life is too short.
