UPDATE - Been unbanned now.

So, I've been banned from the chatrooms - almost seconds after I sent someone in private chat links to the porn galleries he was taking pics from and pretending to pass them off as himself...

(Context - we were chatting, and he was pretending to be a big muscular BBC, I reverse image searched... Called him out, and sent proof)...

Now I'm banned from the chat rooms for URL spam... I feel this is a bit unfair haha, given I've been on here over 2 years and calling out someone catfishing, in a private chat, I get banned...

Your 'ban' would have been done by the site system automated bot, not by any member of staff. It has a censor to pick up any external site links being posted and is in place to stop potential spammers, scammers and other media site URL's being posted on this chat site. It is not a ban in the conventinal sense or you wouldn't yet be unbanned.
