Jayne and Tony were looking forward to a night down the pub. The local 60's disco legend would be spinning the decks in his white patent leather shoes and frilly dress shirt. All the 50-70 somethings would be strutting their dodgy knees and hips on the dance floor.
The party couple had been frequenting the establishment for about a year now and had become firm favourites on the dancefloor. Well....Jayne had, Tony was more of a swing your left foot, while supping your beer at the bar, kinda guy. Tony loved to watch Jayne dancing. As soon as she'd hit gin o'clock, she'd start getting all extravagant and lusty. All the guys would be like locust at feeding time, jostling like chess pieces trying to get close to Jayne. She was flirtatious enough to tease, but cool enough to walk back to Tony in time to let the boys simmer down.
"You are such a tease." Tony says, as Jayne approaches the bar.
"Moi!", Jayne says, in her mock abashed look. "I'm just dancing.", and she smiles a mischievious smile.
"You and I both know, if you had half the chance...." He says to her trailing off.
"Yea, you fucking love it." she chastises him. "You love the chance to see me doing it with other guys, you dirty fucker." and she kisses him and then smiles a coy smile.
"I need a piss." Tony says, pushing off from the bar. "Back in a sec".
Jayne watches him push through the crowded dance floor making his way to the gents bathroom on the other side of the pub. She sips at her drink, the first signs of merriment hitting her. A couple more and she'd probably regret it, but she knows in the morning, they'll laugh about it. Then do it all again next time.
Jayne watches as Tony tries to make his way back across the dancefloor, only to be acosted by a guy, more tipsy than tiny dancer! She watches them exchanging words as another guys joins in. She can't make out the conversation so she makes it up.
Drunk guy 1 - "Your wife is fucking lovely mate, a real gem."
Tony - "Yea she is, that's why I married her."
Drunk guy 2 - "I bet she's fucking awesome in bed?"
Tony - "Why yes she is. Fucks like a rabbit in fact. Thank you."
Drunk guy 1 - "Don't suppose you'd let us fuck her too?"
Drunk guy 2 - "Yea we could all fuck her. That'd be totally awesome dude (now in a californian surfer accent)."
Tony - "I think we could make that work, what time and day suits you?"
Jayne is smirking to herself as Tony finally stalks back over to her. "What are you smiling about?" Tony asks.
"What were you boys talking about?" Jayne asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Nothing really," Tony replies. "Turns out, I went to school with a couple of the lads over there. They were in the year below me." Tony swears he caught a look of disappointment in her face. "What's up?" he asks.
Suddenly realising her change in tone, Jayne says "Oh nothing," smiling at him, "I just thought you were going to say something else."
"Like what?" Tony looks at her puzzled.
"Oh I don't know," She laughs at him. "Just not that I guess. Right I'm going for a dance again, you coming." She says sarcastically.
"As if." He laughs.
As Jayne struts her way onto the dancefloor, Tony smiles to himself. "She really is fucking sexy" he muses.
At some point, in amongst Jayne's twirls and bops, she looks across to the bar. She spots Tony, once again chatting to the same two guys, only this time there is a third guy with them. She watches them for a few moments as the talk, laugh and give each other a playful shove or smack on the back. They talk some more, laugh some more. Usually, Tony is fixed on watching her. Now he seems to have some new playmates to distract him. In a pang of jealousy, Jaynes trots off the dancefloor and over to the group of alphas. "What's going on here then." she asks, smiling and grabbing her drink. She steps in to position herself next to Tony. A clear sign "He's mine fuckers." At least that's what she wanted to say.
"Err, these are the guys I was telling you about." Tony says, "This is Graham, Paul and Mike." He says, introducing the guys in turn.
All Jayne heard was; This is guy....blah blah blah, as the effects of alcohol dulled her attention. "So what do you all want with my man?" Jayne says in a mock american accent.
Tony chimes in "Oh we were just catching up. I thought it'd be cool if the guys came back to ours for a drink. You don't mind do you babe?"
She knew it was not really a question. It wasn't an unfair request and she knew they'd enjoy the company and socialising. "Hey, it don't matter to me." She said in an all too overdone, nonchalant manner.
"Sorted." Tony says. "It's almost 11 now, so we might as well head off now then." He looks to Jayne. Jayne looks to the guys and sees a smirk. Not entirely sure why but she definitely sees it.
"Yea sure, just let me grab my coat and nip to the loo." and with that Jayne disappears into the dancefloor.
As they walk home, the cold air is like whiskey to a babe and Jayne feels the drunk demon pulling at her senses. She knows she's a bit pissed, but then that's how most disco nights go. As they cross the street and enter the driveway of their home, Jayne says "Who's up for coffee?" and they all laugh.
Inside the house, the coats are taken and everyone is shown into the lounge, where the game of musical chairs begins. Eventually, everyone is perched and Jayne is sat on the arm of a sofa next to Tony. They guys start reminiscing in moments and the laughter and stories begin to flow.
"I'll sort some drinks out." Jayne says quietly to Tony and she kisses him, exiting her perch and heading for the dining room. She can hear the boys laughing, talking about teacher pranks, stealing something from a shop and then the conversation goes quiet. As she slowly walks back towards the lounge, she can hear a conversation. Not more than a loud whispering, but just about clear enough to make out.
"You reckon she's up for it." One of the guys says.
Tony replies "I'm sure she will be. We've talked about it as fantasy a bunch of times. You've just got to let me lead up to it."
"Does she do oral and stuff too?" Another guy asks.
Jayne's mind cartwheels. "Oral! Up for it!" Her minds starts to realise the ulterior motive. That cheeky bastard, she thinks to herself, willing the anger to rise within her. But it doesn't come. "That dirty fucker." she whispers to herself as a smile begins to appear on her face. Quickly she tries to process and picture the other guys. None of them looked hideous or anything. "Oh my god, I'm starting to plan it!". she thinks, almost embarrassed.
Trying to compose herself, she walks back into the lounge. "Here you go.", she says as she hands out the bottle of beer, then takes up her position by Tony once again. "What did I miss?" She asks, coyly. The room is oddly quiet until Tony says, "nothing, just talking about old school stuff really. I know that's not interesting for you." He says, recognising her inability to join in. "Let's put some music on then maybe you can dance." He says to her.
"I'm not dancing on my own", she scolds him playfully. "This is not a strip club!"
"No, you muppet. I just meant....", seeing the humour in her face, he laughed. "Muppet." he says again as he cues up the best of the 80's music.
Soon, they are dancing and drinking as the night moves on. Jayne turns the lights down and switches on some twinkly lights draped across the fireplace. As the friends become a little more tipsy and the dancing eases. The group sit down once more and the conversation turns back to childhood memories.
"Let's play a game or something?" Tony says. Jayne looks at him suspiciously. "You don't play games." She laughs.
"Well we should do something?" He asks. "Unless we want to sit here staring at each other all night?"
"Is strip poker out of the question?", one of the guys asks, clearly intended as a half joke.
