Wish it was possible, I am a bit of an exhibitionist, but only to people I want to see. Don’t feel comfortable putting it all in main chat lol

When sending a p2p message (not a PM in chat) - there is a toolbar. Select the insert image icon which is just next to the smiley face icon.

With respect, you can't. You can only link to an URL to the image. This assumes you have uploaded the image somewhere else. What you can't do is directly upload an image into a DM (on the forum)

There is however, a workaround...

Log into chat
In the room, type /msg <Your Username> <Any message> (I use test)
Then upload your image. This will send a PM on chat to yourself.
Then right click on the image, copy the image link
You can then paste this URL into the insert image box in the DM's on the forums.
This also has the advantage in that the images are wiped from the server after a short time
