Has there ever been anyone in your life, like and ex, or a forbidden love, or even a teenage crush that has never left your mind, despite growing up, moving on, finding your life partner etc?
I have one ex who in my late teens captivated me. I saw her across the canteen in college and after several week of staring she actually came up to me and said 'so are you going to say hello', other than something to that affect.
We dated for a little while, not sure it was actually that long, and to be honest, were weren't really that compatible, we were also in our late teens so not that most mature LOL. We broke up but stayed, not friends, but we did bump into each other we could have a good conversation and a drink without it being weird.
To this day I still think about her something and she holds a small secret place inside me.. We have never seen each other since probably the mid 00's when our friend groups fracture or moved on. I know she married and divorced a guy that I had a tenuous link with, and I know she stayed local(ish). I have seen her pop up in a 'you might know' feed on FB and my memory goes back to those days in the college canteen.
