Building this fire was bloody hard work. 5pm, New Years Eve, 2018 -35 degrees. The frost was literally freezing the life out of the fire. Took about 2 hours to get enough wood melted and burning that the heat generated would beat the cold of the air. But it was -35...so we had to keep going back inside so as not to get frostbite being out in it. Ahh...so worth it. for the 15 minute marshmallow roast.
