Was there ever a single book that stayed with you? Had a profound effect on your outlook? Or was just a fantastic read?
(I'm always on the look out for a good book recommendation).




What book and why?




I will go with Aldous Huxley's Brave New World

I was 14 when I first read this - so over 10 years ago now - the effect was profound, it made me question everything, introduced me to the concept of Social Conditioning ..... and there was lots of shagging in it!

Larry Niven wrote a book on journeying through hell, inspired by the Divina Comedia from Dante. I liked that one. I forgot the title.
