During this Corona Virus pandemic it's important to understand that this is just a temporary change, it wont be like this forever and it's OK to not be OK during this rare circumstance. So try not to let yourself be effected by the stress, it's normal to be excessively stressed out right now.
Here's a few things you can do to stay entertained under strict social distancing guidelines:
- Use the chat rooms to stay social while remaining safe. Chat with strangers live at any time of the day.
- Download messenger apps like Skype, Kik or SnapChat. Experiment with sexting and virtual cyber sex if you haven't already.
- Video Chat! Make use of your camera and microphone and cam chat with other users in the chat rooms, it'll be more interesting that catching up with friends and family.
- Try to keep a schedule, keep a routine and not treat every day like a Sunday.
If you've never tried video chatting before, now is a great time. You can show or much or as little as you want to. It's fine to be shy and remember you have complete privacy control over your webcam and audio settings. If you're feeling adventurous you can open it up for everyone to see, otherwise by default, people will need your permission to be able to see and hear you. You also don't even need your video and audio enabled to see other people, so feel free to watch as you ponder whether or not to take it to the next step.
Stay active, there are a million YouTube videos from beginners to advanced at home work outs. You don't need any equipment, just body weight exercises, stretches or yoga will fine. It's healthy for your body, mind and could be entertainment for someone else ;)
A lot of people are been doing group video chat sessions using popular services like Zoom for Game nights and other virtual social gathering purposes. This is something you can do with family and existing friends and is a good way to keep in touch.
