Technical Questions re posting jpegs

Hi

Been trying to post jpeg image on my profile status updates. Clicking on 'insert image' just brings up a box to enter a link. No apparent way to upload from computer. Tried a link to an image on Media Fire as a workaround. Won't accept that.

Also, is there any way to extend the range of emojis? Built in ones on phone/tablet/laptop don't work and supplied set is very limited.

There is a work around for jpegs in statuses here.

As for emojis...not much help there...some of the PC icons work ❤ for example...it might be a matter of testing them one by one. But I agree...the emojis are a bit limited still.
