Pics in conversation

If you 'start a conversation' with someone, is it possible to upload a photo?
Obviously it can be done through your profile or if you go through the forums to a topic it has a 'upload file' icon at the bottom, but there is no facility if you private message someone.

I never found an icon bottom left. The only one I get is in the icon bar above and that doesnt work !!

I meant if you start a convo in here with someone rather than on chat.
The only options are the icon bar ^^^^^^. No option to include a pic. xx

The piece of paper takes away all icons.

I can upload a file in here from the 'upload a file' button but can't do it in private chat ...
