Banned from site??

Hello.. I am not able to use the chat rooms..I have been blocked as I posted a link to another site.Stupid I know but I was being plagued by a guy claiming that the photos he was posting were of his wife. They were from a porn site (showed up on a Google search) and I posted the link in the room..BOOM I was gone and cannot get back on.Does anybody know how long a ban lasts or is it permanent?
